3 Days, 3 Quotes: Day 2

I’m starting to think that I may have commitment issues…. or maybe I’m just irresponsible..

I know, I know. This quote should’ve been here yesterday but.. I had this infernal paper to write and got caught up in it. My apologies, dear readers.

Speaking of Infernal; today’s quote is from one of my all-time favourite trilogies. Any guesses?

(Oh yes, if you want Day 1’s quote, it’s right here)

Another drumroll before the grand reveal, please:

*drumroll*

This is especially true in my case because were it not for books, I would’ve been a completely different person compared to who I am today. So thank you books for making me choose to live a thousand lives instead of just one!

And the nominees for the day are:

  1. bookishthingsandtea
  2. rantandraveaboutbooks
  3. jessreadsbooks

Have you read The Infernal Devices trilogy yet? Can you relate to today’s quote as much as I do? Let me know below!

Signed,

Midnight Ranter (aka Ayaka)

  1. I’ve postponed reading this series but definitely loved Clare’s other series, The Mortal Instrument! 🙂 And this quote, oh this quote! Books are my safe haven and I thank heavens (and authors) for them!!! 😀

    • SO TRUE. I don’t know what I would’ve done without book *shudders at the mere thought*.

Many people tend to read The Mortal Instruments and leave aside The Infernal Devices; and I don’t blame them, no one would appreciate the art that is William Herondale before reading that trilogy, so you don’t know what you’re missing- no harm done XD
Clare’s books are always my favourites and I’d look forward to when you get to read TID xx

      • Actually, I haven’t had the time to read the last book in the TMI series and now that we’re talking about it, maybe I’ll pick that one up and then start reading TID after! I’ve always loved Clare’s writing too and now I miss her books! I remember swooning over Jace no matter how other people hated him! Haha xD

    • You’re welcome! And thanks; it’s one reason why I love it so much— how relatable we can all feel it is. Also, I get where you’re coming from; some people aren’t very into the Victorian Era and others aren’t sure they’d like to stray away from The Mortal Instruments original cast (have you read that series? It’s epic). I’d say you give it a try though; personally, I loved it 😀
